December Favourites

Where has the time gone? It’s almost January again and time for another monthly favourites! This month is a good one for a favourites post because there are so many different products that I’ve tried because of Christmas and my Birthday. I’m excited to be able to share some of my favourites from this month because I love reading these posts because ‘yes’ I’m extremely nosey and I like to see new products that I can try. So now it’s your turn to be nosey and see what I’ve been loving over the past 4 weeks.

L’Oreal Super Liner - Perfect Slim
This month I’ve absolutely been loving eyeliner and this is why. This eyeliner is so easy to use and glides on your skin so simply. For someone who is terrible at eyeliner, this makes me look like a pro! What I really like is that it’s nice and cheap so that it doesn’t break the bank, which is great, of course! So what could be better, a really good quality, cheap and easily applicable eyeliner? It’s just fab!

Benefit Rollerlash Mascara
You will have all had enough hearing how amazing this mascara is so I won’t bother telling you all over again! But oh wow, it is very good! I bought this in summer for my holiday and I haven’t stopped using it since! It hasn’t dried up, it hasn’t run out and it’s doing the most amazing job of lengthening, curling, volumising and separating my lashes! Yes it’s a little expensive at £19.50 but totally worth the money, even if your bank hates you after you buy it, it’s definitely worth it!

Lush Bath Bomb ‘Dashing Santa’
If you know me, I’m a sucker for lush products, especially bath ones, and the bath bombs are my absolute fave! Over the christmas period I buy many of their seasonal bubble bars, bath melts and bath bombs. One of my personal favourite from this edition of their products is the dashing santa bath bomb. I bought one myself a couple of weeks ago and used it almost immediately after it came home. Not only that, I was bought one from my friend Lois for Christmas and one from my friend Lydia for Christmas too! They must know me well! I love it because it has a beautiful smell to it with all the citrus scents merging together! Thank you guys for knowing me so well and buying me an awesome present!

Benefit Browzings Eyebrow Kit
I have always struggled with getting the right products for my brows, they are very pale, and even if I get them done, they still don’t seem to have much shape to them! Since buying this product in summer, I have never gone back! It comes with a wax, a powder, two mini brushes (one angled and one rounded) and a pair of tweezers. Not only does it turn my brows into some amazing shape, it is perfect for travelling as it’s all in a compact little kit. I find it super easy if I brush my brows out with a spooley, to shape them with the wax and fill them gaps in with the powder. You can easily shape them how you want and how light and dark you want them to be. I like a good strong brow, and even with the lights shade, you can still get that!

Mac Prep and Prime Fix +
Although I first tried this a little late in the month (because I got this at Christmas) I have loved it ever since I first tried it out. I spray 3-4 pumps of this on my Real Techniques sponge to blend out my foundation and concealer. It’s so light on the skin and just makes everything blend out so much easier. I just love it. It’s a simple product but does such an amazing job, it’s totally worth buying it, even if you don’t feel like it would do anything, it really does!

Yankee Candle Simply Home in ‘Merry Berry’
This is one of my favourite Yankee scents ever, I don’t even care that it’s a Christmas scent, because I’ll be burning it all year round. I bought a large jar of this, from Asda at Halloween and started burning it not long after. I have gone through this so much over the past couple of months and have very nearly finished it! I never tend to finish a large candle because the season for it is over so quickly, I can’t burn it enough. But this time, I’ve made a real effort to burn it so many times this month and I’ve really enjoyed the smell flowing through my room all the way round the house and making it smell all cosy wintery. It’s definitely one to repurchase next year!

What have your favourites been this month? Are any the same as mine?

So that’s it! Another year gone and another monthly favourites done and dusted! How’s your 2015 been? Are you looking forward to 2016? If you’re looking forward to next year or not I wish you all a very happy new year and that it brings good health and happiness! Thank you very much for reading all my posts this year (even though there hasn’t been as many as I would’ve liked) and continuing to support me. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed writing these blog posts for you to read and I can’t wait to be writing some more that you’ll be enjoyed throughout 2016.

Thank you,

Tasha
